Loved my stay at Au Petit Roi! The cozy room and amazing breakfast blew me away. Juliette and Thomas treated us like family, and the location made it easy to explore Old Quebec.

high heating

i thought i would be greeted like royalty, but instead faced cold omelets that looked like solid tortillas, how delightful! and heating that resembled a sauna, truly a relaxing stay. shocking that i wasn’t given a complimentary beverage or at least some fresh pastries to ease the pain of my experience. almost penned a good review, but just couldn’t.

The breakfasts were delightful! Each morning featured a different delicious main dish, along with a refreshing fruit smoothie that was perfect for my dairy allergy. The location was a sweet spot, just a leisurely stroll away from Old Quebec and various fabulous restaurants. The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home.

Warm welcomes and a cozy atmosphere made my stay enjoyable, while the location was perfect for exploring. Breakfast was superb, with a delightful variety including omelettes and fresh bread.

While the room was charming, noise from the hosts and cold breakfast on some days left much to be desired. My experience didn't meet expectations based on previous visits.
